Hi Doll Friends!
Another custom boy doll has arrived in the doll house!!
I found this Our Generation doll at Thrift Shoppe for only $2.99. I knew the dress would be just perfect for my Grace Vanderwaal Doll and kind of thought I'd use the doll's body as a transplant for a Heidi Ott Faithful Friends doll I've got that I think needs a new, more poseable, body.
I was pretty bummed that she only had the one sandal because how cute is that? White eyelet has always been a favorite and doll sandles out of white eyelet? Too cute! I plan to hang on to the sandal to tuck into 'beach bags' where it won't matter if there is only one cos the other one could be buried in the beach bag, right? Teehee. (No I am not a Hoarder! Or, well... Only in doll sized items!! Hahaha!)
But that face!! Such cute freckles!! The more I looked at the sweet smile, the more I thought "Well, maybe I'll just TRY and make-over and see what I think after?" I figured I could always change my mind and go ahead with the body transplant later if I don't like the results. Right?
I knew the hair was going because it looks like her hair must've been roughly brushed by her first owner and she'd lost a lot. See the sparse plugs on top? So I sheared off the hair and began trying on wigs. I tried on a few female wigs first and they were ok...
But I knew the moment this one went on that it was meant for him. I still just smile when I look at him because I think he looks so perfect as a boy!
I named him Barron Trump. I am not even trying to political here so please don't get all upset if you're not a fan of his father. Say what you will about the President, I think Barron is just a sweet kid. I saw him playing with his nephew (I think? Maybe the baby was a niece?) to help distract the baby during the long day that was Inauguration Day and he was just being so sweet and kind. You can't fake that. Mind you, I don't think Barron Trump actually has freckles actually... But for some reason, he just reminded me of him and it stuck in my head.
So here he is, little Mr Barron Trump, the newest member of the Doll House!

Wow...your new doll makeover looks just like Barron! Good job. I, too, was impressed with how he played with his little nephew during the inauguration ceremony to keep him entertained. What wonderful memories these children are going to have, growing up in the White House!
