Hello Doll Friends!
There are lots of opinions about Temu... Some people say that's it's a 'spy program' etc etc... I'm not sure how true that is? I didn't hear that until 'too late' anyway and I'd already downloaded the app and made an order. At first I was only ordering the adorable stickers and scrapbooking papers they have for unheard of prices. In fact, that is part of what pulled me back into my 'other' hobby of paper crafting. I've also ordered a bit of make-up, a few cute tops and some fun socks from them and also, very top notch. Especially for the prices they charge! So the last time I was filling up my buggy there for some reason a 'photography backdrop' came up in my suggestions. What?! There was a really cute one of what looked like a European village (60'x40') and it was only $5.50! So I popped it into my buggy and looked forward to seeing how it was. It arrived in the promised time window (usually about 10 days or they give you a $5 credit) on Monday. So yesterday I pulled it out and ironed it a bit (it was folded up so it had some fold lines) and...
I totally love love love it!
To give you an idea of how large it is, I took a photo of Nanea by it where you can see the whole thing. It's huge and perfect in size for doll photos! So I did a little photo sesh' with Nanea and Frann Doll!
I love love love how the photos came out! Now I've bought photography backdrops from eBay before and so I know they are available there too but I think the prices have gone up exponentially since the last time I bought some (in this and this post). I might go look there again sometime soon because I'd like to get a replacement for the graffiti wall one I used to own but that I lost along the way somewhere. So, below are the photos I took and some of them I made into an Instagram post even. Then below that...? Another backdrop of the ocean I decided I couldn't live without now that I knew they were good quality, that's on it's way. They also had some 'tapestry' suggestions come up and I looked at them and thought they'd make great backdrops too! Hopefully I'm right. Haha. So, when they arrive, I'll have fun taking photos with them and will come tell you all about it! Temu also sells some 18 inch doll items (mostly shoes and clothes) but I haven't taken the plunge on those yet because I have so so so many clothes and shoes for my dolls already! So, Temu, have you bought anything from there? What was your experience? Let me know in the comments.
Better run!
