Fun Dolls Team USA Soccer Uniform Doll Clothes Set From Amazon

Hi Doll Friends!

Boy Dolls need clothes too... Right?

So when I saw this adorable FunDolls Team USA Soccer Uniform Set on Amazon I knew I needed it for my boy dolls!

It is so fantastic! Right down to the shoes, it's just neat.

It comes in this cute little gift box so it'd be a great gift for any doll lover!

Obviously it could be for a girl doll too but I bought it with my boy dolls in mind.

When you open the box, the outfit comes wrapped in tissue paper.

It even comes with a soccer ball!

The back of the shirt has velcro closure, as does the shorts.

The details on this outfit are great. See the little patch on the shirt?

There is one on the shorts too.

I love the shoes too! So, if you're looking for a fantastic soccar uniform for your dolls, you can't go wrong with this one!

Better run!

New In Box Madame Alexander Doll Find At A Local Flea Market!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

So recently I went to a local Flea Market with my sister... I saw all manner of neat doll items...

These pretty doll horses...

This cute little doll... She was actually 18 inches tall but she had a slim line body and I am making myself stay with the American Girl Doll sized doll and doll clothes right now. So I simply took her photo and moved on. Behind her was a cute 18-inch doll that I thought about for a moment but I left her there as well...

She was sitting on this really cute doll horse...

I saw a My Life As Doll doll...

But then... I happened upon this beauty. She was marked $24.99 and at first I left her where she sat because I didn't really have that in the budget right now. But... Then my sister looked her up on eBay and made me realize that I ever wanted to get her in the future I'd be paying three times as much...
So I threw caution to the four winds and put her in my cart.

I'm so glad I decided to buy her...!

Because she is so pretty! Her little outfit is adorable and so well made as well!

She has such a sweet little face...

And her hair is gorgeous!

So, she'll make a great addition to my little collection!

Better run!

Another Boy Doll Project

Greetings Doll Friends!

Back with a proper write up later... Here is the newest boy in the doll house. I was planning on him being Harry Potter but my dear daughter named him Elvis and that might just stick...

Nearly All My Dolls In One Photo

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!!

We are moved! Hallelujah!! We actually moved about a week and a half ago but I couldn't unpack my dolls until the loft where my husband and I are going to bedroom and office had carpet put in. Happily the carpet went in on Friday and everything is coming together finally! So... In what felt like Christmas yesterday morning, I spent about an hour or so unpacking all my dolls onto our couch. I figured I'd put them all there and take a group photo. Mind you, all of them have box hair and they were not posed nearly as well as I'd have liked because I kind of just put them on the couch willy-nilly as they came out of the boxes. I am telling you, it was so much fun! I wrapped them all in pillowcases before putting in boxes (Um, yeah, I have a lot of pillowcases... Have I mentioned my affinity for linens? I digress) and so as each one came out of a box, I didn't know until I took them out of the pillowcase which they were... So much fun! So, without further adieu... Here are *nearly* all my dolls!

I know the photo quality is horrid and you can't see all their faces very well but... It's the closest I've ever come to having them all in one photo before. I realized after taking it that I had about 10 more dolls upstairs already, including my AG. I'll have to figure out which they were otherwise and take a group of them and add later so I'll have a post including all my dolls. Can't imagine when I'll take another group photo of all of them because it took some doing, getting them all situated. Haha! I've considered trying some YouTube videos and perhaps my first ones will be videos of my doll collection. We shall see. As it is, although my blog has had like 10K hits so far, I don't think I have one subscriber yet. My kids ask all the time because they care about such things. My point in bringing it up is to say that I pretty much write this blog just because I enjoy it... Anyone who reads it or gets anything out of it, mores the better! Maybe I have regular readers and they are like me and just don't subscribe to blogs? I read about ten doll blogs regularly and only have them bookmarked, not subscribed. So... Whichever. So if you're a regular reader, howdy! Glad to have you along! Am rambling now. So happy to be in new house. Worked on my dolls space yesterday and it's gonna be awesome! So... All these months of work and worry and being unsettled are finally paying off! God is good.

Till next time Doll Friends!

Vintage Effanbee Suzie Sunshine 18" Doll

Greetings Doll Friends!

So the last few months have been a whirlwind of finding a house, thinking it may be "the one" and then having it fall through. So last weekend saw us on yet another house hunt! More to confirm we wanted to offer on the one we just bought (well, pending inspections... Pray for us and that it works out!) than anything. One of the houses we looked at happened to have an Estate Sale going on in it at the same time! Score! The house was actually intriguing but we found out it had already been sold. Since we were there, I figured it didn't hurt to look around a LITTLE... Right?

I went up into the bedroom of this cute little old house and saw four dolls! Three of them were porcelain and, as you may know, not my thing at all. However, there was also this little lady!

Here is Susie Sun Shine right after I brought her in from the car. I set her next to Farley and the babies and she immediately fit right in! However, she needed a bit of a clean up!

For a doll that is over fifty years old, she was in terrific shape! I don't think her dress is original but I think it was made for her specifically. It's very cute and very time period authentic.

I love her sweet freckles and cute expression!

Poor baby had her plugs showing because they'd pulled her hair into pig tails.

She sits very well.

This is how I know her dress isn't her original meet dress. They didn't have Velcro in 1961!

Here she is all cleaned up and wearing the dress I gleaned from a Muffy Bear I got at Goodwill for 99Cents! (I donated the bear right back) Doesn't it look perfect on her! The shoes? Those are American Girl Doll shoes! They fit her perfectly!

After a good cleaning up with water and a Norwex cloth, she looked great and I brushed out her hair and her plugs no longer show!

She loved all the babies! She'd never seen baby dolls before, she'd lived her whole life with porcelain dolls! Her she is holding a baby for the first time in all of her fifty years! Better late than never!

I named her Eliza!

Till next time!

Dollies Love to Share Clothes

Hello Doll Friends!

One of my favorite ways to play with dolls is to dress them up in each others clothes! Don't you? So here we have a few dress swaps to show you...

Here we have Zoey, my Sasha 16" Doll, wearing Lucy's dress. I think she looks adorable!

Naturally that left Miss Lucy feeling a bit cold and so she opted to try on Kate Elise's dress.

I think she looks wonderful, all modern and neat!

Here are the three involved in the clothes swap... Happy as clams.

The girls in a group photo!

That's it for now Doll Friends! Until next time!!

Mystery 18inch Doll Joins Doll House

Greeting Doll Friends,

Before we started moving and packed nearly every single thing we owned... Back in July... I got a mystery doll. It is supposed to be a girl doll but I decided it was a boy from minute one. He is the one in the middle here. It's the only photo I took of him before I packed him away. Have any of you ever seen him before? I'd give you more information but like I say, he's packed.

He has long black hair that I've decided I am going to leave long because I think he looks just like a native american boy I went to high school with that had a long braid down his back. I love the "Leather Jacket" I got for him from a garage sale too. It's a Build a Bear one and the sleeves are a bit short on that and the Nebraska jacket David is wearing but I love how they look anyway. Can't wait to get my dolls out of storage so I can review him properly. For now though, isn't he super?

That's it for now Doll Friends!
Till next time!
