I thought you might like to see my current store window! It's Back To School themed! HOW is it time for school to start again next week already? Time flies!!

I don't know how to get better photos of the window, without a reflection but I thought you'd get the idea...

PPS I didn't really mean to put these gals in with the exact same face sculpt... I just randomly picked a grouping to be the back to school bunch and happened to pick them both! Hahaha! Guess I really do love that face sculpt! heeheehee

Another Thrifted American Girl Doll!

It must be my lucky month because I found another American Girl Doll this week at Goodwill! She was only $19.99!! I have her all cleaned up and she is actually in my most current store window because I just had to show her off...! Then the desk, in the photo above, I bought a while ago but can't recall if I showed you? It was only $3.99 and will match so well with the other furniture in Heather Doll's Bedroom. 

I also found this Madame Alexander doll for only $1.99. She's quite a mess and I haven't had a chance to fix her up yet but I will... I think she's got a sculpt I don't think I've seen before from Madame Alexander...? I'd love your thoughts? 

I also got this bag of Build a Bear clothes for only $2.50! There was a tshirt in there that I think is worth that much... So, good deal!

Then there is the stuff I left behind...

This fountain was amazing but very heavy and I'd already spent my fun money for that day and so it stayed there...

A Disney Princesses Doll. I had some of these but weeded them out because they were a totally different body type and therefore clothes style than my other 18 inch dolls and... I only have so much room. 

Then I saw this cute dance studio for the small dolls but... 

Space! Only so much!

Grace Thomas Comes To Live At The Doll House!

Greetings and Salutation Doll Friends!

Good Golly, we are six days into August already?! How is that even possible! My kids go back to school a week from tomorrow even. Time flies!

So this past week I was on Facebook (tsk tsk, what a time suck that is!) and my local 'buy sell trade' had a post come up in my feed about a Garage Sale coming up over the weekend in my town. Woot! I love garage sales! So I click the photo to see what else they might have and low and behold what do I see? American Girl Dolls! Three of them even! So I asked her what she'd be charging for the dolls and she said from $25-$45 depending on the doll. She had a Grace Thomas doll and she looked to be in good shape! So I asked her how much she wanted for her. Naturally she was the $45 one. LOL But I still knew I was getting a good deal especially if she was in good shape. So... I asked if I could buy her ahead of the sale. I was delighted when she agreed! So we met at a store parking lot and before I knew it Grace Thomas was mine! 

She is nearly perfect! Like she was only played with a little bit but mostly stored or something. Awesomeness!!!!

Grace was the Girl Of The Year the year that I really started blogging here in earnest and so I have always kind of wanted to add her to my collection. So, mission accomplished! 

See? She's in perfect shape! All I needed to do  was brush out her wig!

So yesterday morning was beautiful and I decided I'd take her out for some doll photos.
