Zita Elements 14inch Doll Clothes Set From Amazon

Hi Doll Friends,

So my 14 inch dolls needed a wardrobe infusion...
So I went shopping researching on Amazon to see what I could come up with.
So I ran across this set of 14inch clothes from Zita Elements and decided to give it a try to see what it was like... Cos, like, dolls need clothes right?

Now from the photos on Amazon, I really loved the styles and the patterns on these clothes!
And with regard to the patterns and styles, they arrived and were spot on.
The only thing I didn't like was that the bottoms of the dresses were not hemmed. Given the type of fabric it is I don't think they will unravel or anything but it's a detail I thought I should point out.
Still, at less than $3.00 an outfit, they really are pretty cute.

They come in this little bag that says "Enjoy your gift" so they'd make a great present for the 14inch doll lover in your life. Or, they are all individually packaged inside the bag too so... Really, they could be given as gifts separately too. They could even make great party favors for a doll party!

I took some of the dolls out to model them for you this morning!
Aren't they adorable?

So if your Wellie Wishers or Glitter Girls or City Pals need some new clothes?
You can't really go wrong with these.

Till next time!

Dolls Dolls Dolls... Thrift Store Finds I Could Not Resist!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

I was weak! How could I not?!
Recently I went into a thrift store and low and behold what did I see?
Someone had apparently donated their entire collection of My Life As Dolls!
Or that's what it looked like! They all had what, it appeared to me, their original 'meet outfits' on and had been played with very little.
What?!?!
Before I knew what I was doing, the entire collection of them was in my cart...
And then being rung up at the register...
And in my Jeep!
But seriously...
How. Could. I. Not?

They were all marked $3.99 each! Their outfits alone were worth that!
Seriously, how could I not?

There was even this little gal... I hadn't planned on buying any 14' dolls but...
Knowing this was one of the City Pals and knowing, now, that they were likely a 'one off' for just the Christmas season they'd been released and sold at Sam's Club, again...
How could I not?

Not too many days later in a different thrift store...
(What can I say? They are a weakness!)
I found these two Our Generation dolls.
I didn't think to take 'before' photos of them unfortunately, this is them after I'd cleaned them up.

Sadly, that thrift store writes the prices on each item with permanent marker...
Why??!
I am going to try and get it off with some zit cream at some point or another.

This little guy has a mark of ink on his face I couldn't get off too...

At a different thrift store a little later I found this My Life As Doll Boy.
He had no clothing on and only $1.99 and... Well... I was weak and bought him.

Then just the other day (these finds have been over the last several weeks, mind you...) I found this little gal!! I almost fell over the same way I always do when I find an actual American Girl Doll at a thrift store. Better yet? She didn't have a price tag and I asked the clerk how much she was and she told me she'd let me have her for $1.99!!
Wow!
That's a find!

So... This is how I ended up buying a gaggle of dolls from the Thrift Stores recently.
What can I say?
I love dolls.

Better go.

Doll Photo's At The Park Last Week!

Hello Doll Friends!

Here are some doll photo's I took last week at the park. It's been a crazy few weeks! As per usual I have many a blog post planned in my brain/imagination but just less and less time to come here and get them posted. I am determined I will find a better 'balance' in my life and get back to more regular blog posts but I am certainly not there yet. Goals!

Here are some photo's I took of some dolls last week. I am absolutely enamored with Maricela and wanted to take her along with me when I went out for work during a sunny day... I decided to grab a couple of other dolls too...

I really like the photos and how they came out!

You can see I had them stood up on picnic table.

Maricela's 'necklace' is a bracelet (I recently found at a thrift store) like I talk about in this post

This is just a lot of different perspectives of the same pose.

This is an as-of-yet-unnamed Our Generation Doll that I got recently at a thrift store and spruced up...

And this is a little Citi Pals Doll I got late last year at Sam's Club.

I mostly took photo's of Maricela because it's so much easier to pose one doll than it is to pose three!

I even stopped by a different park and got some photos there...

And then to even a third park... I think she's such a gorgeous doll!

I love the pretty highlights in her hair! I haven't taken her hair out of their original ponytails yet... I bet it'll be even prettier!

I better run!
