Journey Girls Special Edition Doll At Amazon And She's On Sale!

Greetings And Salutations Doll Friends!

So, recently I realized it'd been a while since I looked at the Journey Girls on Amazon. I am so glad that this line of dolls were continued by Amazon after Toys-R-Us closed down because they really are beautiful and well made dolls. Anyway, I hadn't really been paying attention to the doll line since I bought Ilee. So when I pulled up the search of Journey Girl on Amazon? Who did I see?

They don't really have a name for her... She's simply listed as a Special Edition Doll. I think she's got the same face sculpt as Callie and she is stunning! She is actually on sale right now for $44.27, her normal price is $49.99. I am telling myself "I don't need another doll! I don't need another doll!!" But she is very tempting.
She is similar to the Holiday Dolls from Journey Girls that they've released at Toys-R-Us in the past.
This is how they describe her at Amazon:

Our Journey Girls Special Edition Doll is stunning in a deep red satin gown featuring a modern hemline that shows off a gold brocade underskirt. She wears matching ankle strap sandals with knot closures and a soft blond fur stole. Her accessories include gold rhinestone jewelry, a hair accessory, and an elegant clutch with red tassel. Each Journey Girl has her own individual and unique style while sharing similar interests with her friends. Journey Girls all love to travel and explore, seeking out new friends and super exciting adventures. While each girl is different, one thing is for sure – Journey Girls are all about sharing. Whether it’s sharing something from their closet or something from their heart, Journey Girls are there to share adventures with their friends.

They have a Journey Girl Store, they even have a little video when you go there.

They still have the same basic line of Journey Girls that have been out quite some time.

Several of the Journey Girl items are on sale right now. The clothes set above is the same one I got on clearance at Shopko in 2019

I was interested to find that they also have a few other clothes sets for $14.99 each.

A lot of the playsets are on sale, they are all the same ones that used to be available for sale at Toys-R-Us so it was nice to see that they've brought them back.

I actually have the kitchen set and think it's pretty great.

So I'm glad that I went and checked so I can let ya'll know that they have a lot of it on sale right now... I just have to keep reminding myself that I don't need another Journey Girl Doll irregardless of how pretty she is.
Right? LOL

Have a great day Doll Friends!

American Girl Doll Travel Book Goodwill Score!

Hi Doll Friends!!
I was sorting through all my 'doll stuff' and came across this Doll Travel Book I'd gotten at Goodwill... A while ago... I honestly don't even recall getting it. Teehee. I guess that is a sign you might have too many just enough dolls, when you get cute stuff like this and don't even open it to tell your lovely Doll Friends about it?

It really is a nifty little set. I think most all of the stuff that came with it was included. I mean, it was punched out and the mini-mag was assembled but you can tell that the person who owned this set was meticulous about putting things together and keeping all of it organized. Awesomeness!!

The little American Girl Doll Bag was probably worth the purchase price of $3.99! I imagine it was exclusive to this set? In any case, adorable and I'm glad to have it in my collection!

Here is the first page of the book. I guess I could've photographed all the pages... Hmmm... But if I go back to do that now you will NEVER hear about this book so I probably won't. They are just suggestions and instructions on how to make the crafts that the patterns go with and such. Very cute and colorful book.

Here is the contents of the American Girl bag. All manner of doll sized currency and credit cards and ski passes and and and...

Here it is all sorted out. Isn't it swell!? I love how there are two types of currency since you'd have that reality if you were to travel out of the country. So neat! I love that the 'devices' have 'aged'. It feels like ten minutes ago, to me, when we were all on devices like these and my daughters doll will forever be frozen into being her 10-11ish year old self so it works out perfectly.

Here are some of the things that came in the kit. I love the wrist bands!!
I might very well take color copies of all of these for myself so that more than two of my dolls can have a wrist band for instance.

I love the passport!! So cool!

A mini AG Magazine and an AG Dazzling Desserts cook book!

The doll sized maps might be my favorite part of this set!!

We used maps all the time when I was a kid and these are so realistic!

So fun!

Here they are folded and some airline tickets I think.

Some more postcards,,,

They had all different ones.

All written out even!

Aren't they pretty?!

Then there were 'travel' posters like you'd see in a travel agents office...
Say... A travel agents office...
That would be a fun scene to create!

There were also a bunch of stickers... Obviously a few had been used but... For the price who can complain?

This is a pattern for a snowboard and a ski and a boogie board craft. You cut them out of that craft foam... I'll have to try that as well!

Here are the instructions that were used to make the mini magazine. Seems they put the same type in the AG magazine... I think.

Here is a photo of the contents of the little bag just as I opened it.

Out of time!

Our Generation Let It Roll Retro Bowling Alley Is Now On My Wish List!

Doll Friends!
Look what I just saw on Target website!?!?
It's a Doll Bowling Alley!!

Apparently it's called "Let It Roll Retro Bowling Alley"
and it's going to be my next major doll purchase!!
Check out the video on the listing at Target, it's amazing!
The pins fall and can be reset with a lever and it has music and the 'sounds' of bowling...
And the accessories that come with are fantabulous!
So as soon as I can get together the $170 it costs, this will be mine.
Never mind I'll need to get a bigger house... Mere details!!
LOL
Strangely enough this set isn't even on the Our Generation Doll website? It's so strange that the store sometimes gets things on website before the manufacturer but...
It's so cool!

So... Do you think you'll buy it?
Better run, have several posts I want to get up, this one was sort of impromptu when I saw the set!

Have a great day Doll Friends!

Doll Sized Thrifting Finds Lately... The Ones I Bought and The Ones I Left Behind...

Hi Doll Friends,

Just a few photos of things I've seen in Thrift Stores recently... Both those I 'left behind' and those I brought home! First, the ones I left behind...

Cool globe but it was $4 and I was a bit low on cash when I happened to find it... (Meaning I had already bought my limit that day...) Kind of kicking myself now cos it was so cool and perfect but you can't buy all the things, right?

This doll lamp made me smile. Not my style but still sweet.

This cute tea set...! But... I have so many tea sets...

This hobby horse was cute...

Another tea set...

Again, not my style of doll but I thought I'd take a photo to show them to you.

I am kicking myself for not buying this mannequin... Bummer.

And I totally should've bought those baskets.
*sigh*

I thought about this swing... But it was huge!

Yet another tea set...!

This cute eskimo doll was cute... But again not my style.

Then there is what I bought....

I've been looking for a 'podium' for a church I am planning for the Doll House... When I saw this tissue holder I thought it would be perfect if I could find the right size of wood to cover the hole. Ironically enough I found just the right board within days of finding the tissue holder.

What do you think ? I think I might add a wooden cross to the front but I don't know for sure... Still, I think it will work well enough as it is.

I found this bag of doll items for only $1 at the half price day of the same sale I got all the teddy bears at. Great deal! Just the brush was a great deal!

These hats will fit the Wellie Wisher sized dolls.

I just couldn't resist these...

More fabric...

I can never resist doll sized Tupperware! This is four purple plates.

Some tea sets I couldn't resist... They were in zip lock bags just sitting on the shelves! I almost bought them just to keep them from getting totally broken! I love the little pewter unicorn and the piano is going to be a 'jewelry box' on a doll dresser. The little dutch shoes were from a garage sale and I just love them!

A few of the items did get chipped and broken from being so haphazardly thrown on the shelf.

These are the right size for all my mini dolls... So the dolls can throw tea parties for their dolls!

These were also just thrown up on a shelf, the two goblets in a ziplock baggie and the gorgeous pitcher just sitting there jumbled in with a bunch of stuff that could've broken it so easily!

Isn't it gorgeous!?

and it was only 99c!

Can't. Resist. Little. Bottles!!

Another carrying case... I had four but I carry so many dolls with me to photo shoots that another will be handy!

Only $3.99!

This cute little Princess & Me tea set was one I couldn't resist if only to show it to ya'll...

That's it for now!
Have a great day!
