Frann Sends Frann Doll and Friends To Live In The Doll House! (Part One)

Hi Doll Friends!!

I've been meaning to post about this for months and months... Being the perfectionist I tend to be, I wanted the post to be perfect and complete. I wanted to get a second set of photos done that just haven't happened yet. Finally, I've decided that perhaps if I post the first part of the story, it'll give me more inspiration to get the second half posted... 

So here I am, with the first part. 

A few months ago, my sweet and wonderful sister friend Frann sent me her Frann Doll so she could live in the Doll House! She's a beautiful doll, she's the twin to my Frann Doll but she's had a face up so she looks like my Frann with makeup on, applied by an expert.

She's just gorgeous!

At the same time Frann sent her Frann Doll she also sent me two other 18inch dolls she had in her collection who'd also had face ups... Here is the first one. She's so lovely. She's a Just Pretend Doll I'd sent to Frann quite some time ago that she had made over... So incredibly touched that she sent her back to live in the Doll House! It was so fun to see her again! 

Then she also sent me a third doll! This one is a Journey Girl Meredith who'd also had a beautiful face up by the same artist who'd done Frann Doll and the Just Pretend one. Isn't she just so pretty?!

 

Here is Heather Doll welcoming Frann Doll right after she arrived... She pulled out a Twinsy Doll dress for them both!

It was so fun to have them together! Almost like a visit from Frann herself! 

They just look so cute together with their identical dresses!

So, now that I've gotten this Part One posted it'll give me incentive to get the second set of photos done. I want to take photos of my Frann Doll and Frann's Frann Doll together... 

So... Stay tuned! I'll get that done as soon as possible!

Our Generation Diner Sets From Target!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

As you may recall, last Saturday I went on a bit of a Doll Shopping Spree!! One of the things I purchased was two Our Generation Diner Accessories Set. I bought two because I feel like you kind of need at least two tables or it's not that much of a diner, you know what I mean? I really think the Our Generation Diner is super cute but also that it's way too huge an item for me to every really own. Just not practical because it's not like it breaks down to store away. So my idea was to just buy the accessories sets and make a diner of my own. So here are some photos from the diner I created with the two sets. 

I had Kylee and Meredith be the models!

These accessories are so so cute!!

I love all of it but I think my favorite parts are the napkin dispenser and the condiment holder. So adorbs!

Since I had two sets and the menus were printed in both English and Spanish, I hung one on each side on the wall. I used two cards behind them to make them pop and the little pictures of the gal from the set as photos for the diner. Cute I thought...!

So, you can make a whole diner with just two accessory sets if you have tables and chairs... Pretty nifty! Out of time! Better run!

Journey Girl Meredith Joins The Doll House!

Hi Doll Friends!!

It's. Not. My. Fault.

They put her on sale for $22.59 and I've always wanted a Meredith Journey Girl. 

I really love the outfit she arrived in too! Such a cute jacket and those socks! To die for!

I know, I know... I probably have too many dolls.... But, really, is there such a thiing? 

Her hair is so cute how it came I might leave it in this style a while....

Isn't she pretty? I am not sure what I am going to name her yet? Probably after one of my cousins who looks like her. 

I nearly forgot to take a photo of her with her bag!!

I am sure I'll be back soon with her outfit changed and starring in a YouTube video or something soon! Sorry for the slapdash nature of this blog post... Am buried in drafts that I've been meaning to get posted and so am trying to catch up some!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!!

Happy Friday! As I mentioned in a a recent post I bought another Beautifully Custom wig called Apple Crisp. I've wanted to get an ombre wig for a while now to make a custom doll of someone I really admire. So when I saw that one go on sale for $27.00 shipped, I knew the time was right! 

Meet Melania Trump! I already have Barron Trump doll and since I had him I thought it would be fun to have a Melania as well. I think she is so gorgeous and very ladylike and she's also as sharp as a tack. I wish I could speak five languages!! Heck, I wish I could speak two! 

I decided a while ago that I was going to use this doll to make Melania. She was actually originally named Lauren Southern but I've since decided that a different doll would suit her better as her doppelganger doll. I actually just ordered her replacement yesterday when I got a ToysRUs gift certificate from my husband as a suprise. He sure does know the way to my heart! I think Meredith from Journey Girls actually looks a lot more like Lauren. So... Perfect! 

Here is the doll prior to her hair being shorn off. It was the slightest bit painful cutting off that pretty hair but... Sacrifices must be made when you love to customize! Am I right?

Here is the wig as it arrived in the mail. Beautifully Custom does such an awesome job. They ship very quickly and with the packaging they make it feel very 'special' every time you get a wig from them, even when they are on sale. 

See? It comes in that pretty fabric drawstring bag, and a pretty designed bag and another bag and a zip log bag and a hair net. So, very safe and sound! 

I think she looks perfect! Melania has very deep blue eyes and amazing hair and I think the wig is just like her hair. 

So pretty!

So, another doppelganger doll to live in the Doll House! How fun.

I love our First Lady!
