Treasured Doll, An Irish Doll That Came To America, Find On eBay

Hi Doll Friends!

I've been meaning to get here to tell you about the doll I found recently on eBay... I always keep an eye on items from Queen's Treasures because they have such great doll items. So when I ran across a doll listed by them that I'd never seen before I was very curious... Curious enough to take them up on their 'make offer' button and offer them $40 instead of the listed $49.99. An, low and behold, they took me up on my offer!

So she arrived and she was so lovely... I wrote Queen's Treasures and asked them about her because I couldn't find her on their actual website... Jessica wrote me back to say:

"We do not make these dolls.  They were from a company in Ireland.  We were helping them to try to launch in the USA.  They really did not sell well."

But she sent me a link to their website and I found that they still sell dolls but that I'd gotten a really good deal on mine because they are $95 to $120 each on their website. I won't lie, I wouldn't likely spend quite that much on a doll from a doll company I've never heard of so it doesn't surprise me that they didn't sell all that well. They really are top notch quality though, on par with American Girl Dolls or Maplea or other premium dolls really. Don't have much more time to write so I'll just let the photos tell the story of this lovely doll. I was surprised that she came undressed and had a Queen's Treasures dress enclosed in the box. Lovely! Gotta run!

Some Of The Hobby Lobby Clearance Clothes Being Modeled By The Girls and Bible Lens App!

Dear Doll Friends,

As I told you in my previous post I may or may not have spent the "grocery money" at the recent clearance sale of Marigold Market Doll Clothes at Hobby Lobby.
I'm kidding! I have plenty of food in the pantry! But perhaps just a bit less steak in the freezer if you know what I mean. Sometimes it's just worth it to eat less fancy food when you want to buy something else? Right? Teehee.

So naturally I had to dress some of my lovely dolls in them and take them out for photo's!

Here I have Monte' dressed in a cute outfit that says "D.O.R.K Daughter Of The King".
Isn't it adorable?!

I must've thought so because I bought two!
Teehee.

Then we have a couple of pretty brown eyed sisters that I've yet to name dressed in cute overall outfits that even came with shoes! Not bad for under $4.00 an outfit!

Then, I recently discovered an app called Bible Lens...
It's an app that takes photos and add's scripture to them. I love it. I've been posting a new scripture on my PCR Blog Facebook Page almost every day from it recently. Because you can never share too much of the Word with the world, right?

I better run!

Run, Don't Walk, To Hobby Lobby for Clearanced Doll Clothes! UPDATED September 21, 2020

Doll Friends!

I come to tell you quickly on my lunch hour that you need to run, don't walk, to Hobby Lobby to grab up some great doll clothes on clearance. I got all of the clothes pictured here for $27 and change. The white pair of shoes were still full price but I got them on the 40% off coupon for $2.99. Otherwise the outfits and other pair of shoes were on clearance. The outfits were $2.24 each other than the one that is a dress and headband and frilly socks, that one was $3.24. The little beige pair of shoes was $1.24. Caveat: all those prices were pre-tax and so it kind of depends on the tax rate in your local area how much they will come to with the tax.

Yes, I wiped them out of all they had. What can I say? I have a lot of dolls who need clothes.
I'm not even sorry!

Better run, lunch hours nearly over.

UPDATE 9/21/20

Ok... So I may or may not have gone a little nuts...
And gone to every Hobby Lobby within an hours drive of where I live. Teehee.
But sales like this don't come along all the time, right?
Who cares if I'll be eating ramen for the next two weeks!
Hahaha!
Kidding!!

Here is what I got:

Doll Photography Trip To Orr Park Last Weekend!

Hi Doll Friends!

Last weekend I took a little trip to Orr Park to take some doll photos.
It was fun and I think I got quite a few good pictures!

Orr Park is known for it's carved trees... There are so many neat carvings of faces and other things.
I am short on time right now so I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Earlier that day, on my morning walk, I took the photos below.

I have to run!
Have a great weekend!
