Hobby Lobby Christmas Ornaments As Doll Accecssories!!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!!
I wanted to get here with this information as soon as possible but still suspect it won't help anyone until Christmas ornaments make their way back to the stores next year. Still... We all know how a year flies by in the blink of an eye and so I am sure that it may help some Mom looking for great doll accessories come Christmas 2017. Eh?

My daughter and I went to Hobby Lobby since we happened to be in town on Saturday this past week...

I looked again at the Emma doll in thoughts of buying her to make into a boy doll... I am reasonably sure it's going to happen it's just a matter of when. I think she'll make a great boy doll and I have a friend who I have been wanting to make a doppleganger doll of... But... I decided against buying the doll that day.

Because I decided to use my 40% off coupon on this adorable Springfield Outfit with a kitty motif that I'd never seen before!! I love it! It's going to be perfect for my doppleganger doll of my daughter because she loves shirts like this. It was the last one they had so must be popular!

Then as you can see, I got four Christmas ornaments on clearance for 66% off even though it was still only the day before Christmas. I love them!! They are going to make perfect accessories for the doll house and I got them all for like $2 each!! FUN!!!

We also ran by Tuesday Morning and I saw these cute Style Girl Doll clothes... Didn't buy any because I've had quite a doll clothes windfall lately from my Birthday including beautiful sweaters from Frann and so I don't really need any new doll clothes right now. (Need? Haha. You hush... All need is relative right? LOL)

I also saw these adorable tea sets that would be good for the dolls.... But I have a lot of tea sets.

My daughter fell in love with these dolls (above). I think they are pretty cute too.... But I can only focus on one kind of doll lest I need to buy a new house. She googled them when she got home and decided to spend some of her Christmas windfall of cash to buy a Ball Jointed Doll. She's pretty excited! I told her she needs to do a guest posting about it here on the blog. Wouldn't that be fun?

Here is one of my new Journey Girl dolls posing with the 'gingerbread house' ornaments. I just unscrewed the little holder for the ornament and they look perfect! Can't wait to show you how cute the layer cakes look with the dolls. It's perfect timing too because we need to throw a birhtday party in the doll house this week!!

Better run! Gotta get to work.

Journey Girls Limited Edition Celebration Collection Gift Set!

Hi Doll Friends!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope this finds you having had a wonderful Christmas with your families!! I am glad to report I had a wonderful, low key and relaxed Christmas. We just celebrated with our family for the weekend except for having a life long friend come eat dinner with us on actual Christmas day. What fun things did you do?

When it came to gifts, I was so excited that my sweet husband listened to my hints and got me what I wanted!! I knew when I saw the Journey Girl Limited Edition Celebration Gift Set back when they released it I would want to ask for it for Christmas. The dolls they release in these sets are like 'custom' dolls in that they are not part of the regular line of Journey Girls dolls and so the only chance you have to get them is by getting the set.

If you saw my Merry Christmas post you will have already seen this photo (above) but I only had so much time for photos and so it's the only one I really got of them so far in the doll house... All the dolls in this photo are my more recent arrivals! I figured it would be a great idea to have a Christmas Party for them!

Here they are in thier box! They came with two additional 'fancy' dresses and shoe ensembles including hand bags or clutches.

Here they are released from their box! They are both so pretty! I found it interesting that this year they didn't name them. In last years two doll set (I haven't actually watched this review, so I hope it's ok... I just saw they were reviewing the doll set I wanted to reference... Short on time as ever...!) they named them. They have also always named their Limited Edition Christmas Dolls too. Perhaps they know many girls re-name them anyway and so why give them a name they won't keep? Who knows...

Here is what the back of their hair looked like when they came out of the box....

I think Journey Girls have the prettiest hair even when it's in a funny part like this.

Here is the brunette with some cute Gingerbread Houses I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby... I will be making a separate post about them but she was my model for that post since she looked so lovely in her pink and silver dress. I am not sure what I will name her yet... The blonde with brown eyes will be named Ava after one of my daughters best friends whom she favors.

Sorry for lack of photos! With all the Christmas Celebrations, I didn't have time to take more. I am hoping to get some taken today though after I get the girls changed into 'street' clothes...

Till next time!

Creatology Doll Clothes Ensemble Sets At Michael's

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!!

This is a blog post I've been working on a while... Or rather it's one that I orignally intended to be about my first 'girl' clothes ensemble from the Creatology doll clothes line. Then it took me so long to get it posted that it turned out I'd purchased two more ensembles in the meantime.

Here they are!

Aren't they cute?? (*Note the red sweater doesn't come with the middle outfit, I added it because I thought it was cute)

What can I say? When I am in town and drive by a Michael's and know I always have a 40% off coupon in my phone (because they kind of have a standing coupon) it's hard to drive by and not pop in and grab a dolly treat for myself  the dolls. (Teehee)

I know I've spoken about this doll clothes line before with the Creatology soccer outfit I bought for the boy dolls. They are made pretty well especially considering the price point. So I imagine I'll end up with quite a few more of the cute ensembles. As I mentioned in that post, they are made a bit on the small size of things since Creatology dolls are only 17inches. So I think they'd be best suited for Journey Girls or Tolly Tots or other dolls that run on the slimmer side. I need to try some of them on an actual American Girl doll but I guess I didn't think of it again until I was actually typing this sentence... So I'll try and do that soon too!

As I mentioned in that post I had already gotten all four dolls in the line as of when I wrote that post in July. I wrote about when I got two of them; Creatology Doll Lauren and Creatology Doll Zoey who became Milo Yiannopoulis' Doppelganger doll. I apparently forgot to write about the other two coming home to the doll house though...? I have Creatology Doll Kaylee  in this post from the Halloween party but sadly couldn't find even one posting about poor Madeleine!! I looked and looked and can't find her in any of my postings. Poor dear!! I'll have to put her in the Christmas Party scene I have planned! If you're curious about her though here is a great review of her: Living A Dolls Life Review

So as you can tell, I like the doll line pretty well....

This is the first one I brought home and I'll let it's photo's show you how they are packaged...

Pretty easy to get out of packaging... Just slide out outfit and snip the fasteners. (Note, I recommmend cutting from the cardboard side so you don't cut the clothes!)

This is the second one I bought... Must've forgotten to photo the zebra striped pants outfit but you can see it in the photos of the clothes at the store I think.

Other items I've seen lately at Michael's? These charms were on clearance for $1 and so I bought one of the baby bottle ones for my baby sibling dolls. I think it'll be perfect size.

They also had these adorable small 'cookie cutters' that are perfect size for the dolls... I found the price a bit prohibitive but maybe someday I'll go crazy and buy a set with a 40% off coupon.

Well, I feel like this blog post is a bit scatterbrained but that'd be the best way to describe me on this Christmas Eve Eve... Haha! Have a lot of little loose ends to tie off just like most people this time of year... But by end of the day today I plan to nestle down in my own little house with my own little family and just enjoy the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place: The Peace and Love of Jesus Christ our Savior. I just love Him to the moon and back. Jesus loves you, in case no one ever told you... He is the best Gift ever. He's all yours, all you have to do is invite Him in.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!
Till Next time!
