Posh Furniture Goodwill Score! A Fold Out Couch, Table, Chair and Dresser For Less Than $20!

Doll Friends!

I know I should stop going to Goodwill. I have way too many an abundance of doll items and don't need any more... Probably ever. Then again, need is a relative thing right? I digress. As I said, I should probably stop thrifting and Goodwill shopping. But...
How. Can. I. Stop. When. They. Get. Such. Amazing. Stuff. In. Every. Single. Day?
and they so totally do... You've seen some of the fantastically amazing deals I've gotten... So, every single time I am in the vicinity of a Goodwill, I can't help but think that my next McKenna or Felicity/Prism or bunk bed or vintage American Girl Doll clothes sets or Our Generation Camper or Our Generation Kitchen or Our Generation Doll Bed or Our Generation Ice Cream Truck and Jeep or..... Well... You get the idea.

I try to just look away when I see large horses. I may or may not have five already...

I have two white horses... They are different types though! LOL

Chairs.... I have thing for doll chairs... I have a few... Teehee... So I try to walk away from them too...

Ouch! I want this chair! But I already own it.... But... wait...

There was something buried under all these forlorn and forgotten porcelain dolls... See below...

Some of their faces are rather cute...

And some... well.... Less cute... Wait... What's that table??

I found a couch and chair and table next but didn't think to photo them while still on shelf... I was too busy chucking them into my shopping buggy!! Teehee, you'll see them below. This little fella's costume was totally amazing. If I didn't know it'd be a bit too big for 18inch dolls I might've bought him just for his costume. Teehee.

A chair I decided to leave there.

Another chair I left there...

Another dresser I left there. I liked the legs though...

Just to show you I don't buy every single doll I see, here is one I left for some other lucky little girl. I had her in my cart for a few minutes because this is the one Springfield doll I don't have and she'd have made a great boy doll but..... I recently did an inventory of dolls and lets just say I need to stop bringing home all of the dolls I find. Teehee.

Here is the AMAZING couch I found in that bin... It was only marked $7.99 and I am convinced if it hadn't been covered by the forlorn porcelains, it wouldn't have been there for me to buy. So glad I always go check out the forlorn porcelains!!

See? Amazing!

Here is the table and the chair I mentioned, they were also in the bin.

Only $3.99 each!!! Wowzers! How could I not?!

This one was found out amoungst the shelves and I didn't photograph it before I put it in my buggy. Isn't it awesome?!

What was I saying about not buying any more large horses... Well I shouldn't be buying any more ponies either because I have, like, four of them already too... Teehee... But... How cute was this little fella for only 99cents? I couldn't help myself. I don't have any gray horses or ponies!

He is pretty scuffed but.... We will see what we can do...

Here is Audrey on the couch... Guess what... It folds out! I didn't realize it until I had already taken the photos so I'll have to show you a bit later... Isn't it fabulous!??!?

Also ran by Target... Look at the grills in Dollar section.

CUTE!! Maybe someday....

Such cute shoes too but... I passed on them... I did get....

This Lori doll.... Cos she is SO ADORABLE. We also ran by Micheal's and for some reason these doll boots were on clearance for $1.97. So I bought the only two they had left. Cute right?

So... I might need to build a bigger house if I keep going to Goodwill Stores...
But I'll have the coolest Doll House I could even imagine!

Better run!
Happy Friday!

Goodwill Wood Doll Chairs Score!!

Hi Doll Friends!

I have a weakness for doll furniture but especially for doll chairs... I likely have way too many. However, did I let that stop me from buying these adorable chairs when I saw them at Goodwill yesterday afternoon?

Of course not!! They were just way too cute!! Most of my wood chairs and benches seem to have a 'heart' motif too and so they'll be perfect in that way. Not to mention they are so sturdy! I swear I could probably stand on one and it wouldn't break. So... For only $3.99 each I just couldn't help myself!

See how well they fit under the table?! Perfect! The chairs that came with the table don't even fit under it so well. (You can't push both of them in at the same time).

While the wood is a slightly different color, the 'seat' of the chairs is exactly the same and again, they both have the heart motif and so kind of match. If I were ambitious I could probably stain them all the same color but.... Lets get real! I am a doll collector not a wood worker! Hahaha.

I look forward to many a doll dinner where I have enough chairs for everyone... Now I just need a bigger table!! Right?

PS I wasn't totally naughty! I left this cool chest of drawers and air hockey table at the Goodwill!

Clock For The Doll House From Thrift Store!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

Perhaps you noticed in my recent posting about Doll Leggings that the grandfather clock that normally adorns the Doll House living room had changed. In it's place is this:

Clock that really works that I got for only $5.00 at my local thrift store!! Believe it or not, I literally walked around the store deliberating if I should buy it. I already have the other clock... How many clocks does a Doll House need afterall... But in the end, obviously, I decided I couldn't leave it there. So I moved the grandfather clock into Heather's Bedroom. Which is Heather's room? You can see in the first photo of Sasha in this post. I am sure I have other photos of the room in other posts but that was the first one I found easily... It's also in this post about the Doll Tea Partyand many other posts... Teehee). I just thought this clock matched the living room better. Isn't it fabulous??

Bitty Baby Bed and Bathtub Goodwill Find!

Greetings and Salutations!

So... I apparently have developed a bit of a problem. I can't seem to keep walking when I see American Girl Doll items at Goodwill. Even, apparently, ones that are made for Bitty Baby and the 18inch American Girl dolls. Because...

When I saw these items at Goodwill last week, I put them in my cart without a second thought. It was less than $6.00 for all of it! How could I not?

The bed was $2.99 as you can see on the sticker here...

The tub was $1.99!

They both looked like they were basically brand new!

I plan to give the tub away to a friend who has little girls who would love it!

I haven't decided what I'll do with the little baby doctor bag. I had a thought that I'd put it on eBay and sell it and if I made any profit, I could spend it on doll stuff I am interested in. Only problem? I am really really bad about buying stuff to put on eBay and then it sits and sits. So... This time I decided to risk it.

When I decided to buy the Bitty Baby bed I was hoping that it would make a cute bed for my 14inch dolls like Heart for Hearts and Our Generation Little Friends. So tried it out...

And it worked perfectly!!

I even figured out I could use the little drawer that's below the bed as a trundle bed! Score!!

Then, just to test a suspision... I tried out an 18inch doll in the bed... And... She fit too!!

Here is the bed in a recent post all set up in the doll bedroom!

How fun! I love Goodwill finds!
