Christian Themed Outfits For Dolls At Hobby Lobby!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

So, it's been a while since I've been to Hobby Lobby to look at their doll clothes... I happened to be right next to a Hobby Lobby the other day and thought I'd pop in and see if they had anything new.
I am so glad I did!
I mean they've always had cute clothes there but what I noticed almost immediately when I saw the selection this time was that they had some Christian Themed outfits!
Awesomeness!!
As someone who love love loves Jesus, I really love Christian themed t-shirts for myself! So when I saw them I knew I had to pick up one for Heather Doll! Since I was in the area again the next day, I went back in and got a second outfit too! I got them both with the 40% off coupon they generally always have! I am sure I'll eventually stop in and get one of all the others at some point or another.
and I want to speak the gospel to the world in every way I can!

So here are Kit and Heather Doll modeling the outfits I picked up.
Aren't they fabulous?

Here is a photo of the entire selection of doll clothes and accessories I saw at the store I went to.

They still had the Springfield Dolls. The outfits are from a brand called Marigold Market, which I think is made specifically for Hobby Lobby but it's nice they still sell some dolls that could wear the outfits saying someone stops in and wants to buy a gift with both.

Here is one of the outfits I am talking about. The dress says "God is Love". Isn't it cute?!

This one is cute... Not sure I like the saying myself though... I mean it's kind of clever; DORK to stand for Daughter of the Risen King. But... this one I might pass on.

Then there was this one which is a dress that says 'Saved by Grace'. Very pretty print on the dress and so I'm thinking this might be the next one I pick up.

This one says 'Hope anchors the soul'. I am not sure if it's actually a Christian themed one although it could be. I think it is probably more of a quote from the Emily Dickinson poem:

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

So here is one of the outfits I got, the first one. I also got these two pairs of shoes from Walmart on the same day. I thought it was great how the sandals basically look like they were made for the outfit! Heather Doll is wearing them with it and I think they are perfect together!

Then this is the second one. This one is based on 1 Corinthians 13:13
"Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. ... And now these three remain: faithhope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

So I really love both outfits and like I said, I am sure I'll get a few of the others too at some point! So if you're looking for Christian themed outfits for your dolls, be sure to stop in to Hobby Lobby! Don't forget your 40% off coupon!

Have a great day Doll Friends!

Glitter Girl Outfits And the Mystery Of The Jumping Prices...

Doll Friends!

I've been trying ever so hard to be good... I told myself that this year I was going to reign in my compulsive doll spending. I mean I am not one for New Years resolutions but it seemed like a good target date to adhere to. Here we are not even two weeks in? Aaaaand... I've blown it already. Hahaha.

It's. Not. My. Fault.
Amazon is just out to get me! I was on there the other day shopping for something totally not doll related when... What should pop up in the 'add on' suggestions? Why Glitter Girls clothes no less... What?!?

This outfit set was one of the newer styles and came with the cute candy and it was only like $7.66? What?! So I naturally, you know, cos research, went to check out all the Glitter Girls stuff for prices and... A few other outfits were also in the "add on' suggestions!?

So that started about a 24 hour battle with myself... Putting them in the cart and then hitting 'save for later' and doing it again and then again. Teehee. However, the lovely thing about 'save for later'? It informs you every time you go to your Amazon cart if prices have changed since you put the item in your cart.

I've never seen the crazy price fluctuations that happened over that 24 hours... They just kept going down down down. A penny here, a penny there... I started taking 'print screens' so I could prove to you what I mean because otherwise I might've felt like I'd dropped into the Twilight Zone. Not even kidding...

Below are all the many price changes that happened during the time I was battling myself about buying more doll clothes... It's like Amazon kept going "Yesssss... but what if I make it even cheaper....?" I don't know if they are in the right order but these prices literally changed over like 24ish hours!

So I eventually broke down, put a few in my cart and went to the check out... I'm only human!

A couple of them were duplicates (the bottom two) of outfits I already had but you know me, I love me some twinning clothes!

So here are some of my lovely dolls modeling three of the outfits for you. I didn't get the fourth set out of the box, ran short on time and figured I'd better just take photos of the three in interest of getting this blog post done.

So... Such great deals! You may notice the set of ten doll panties in the order screen shot... I'll be back as soon as I can to tell you about those....

But am out of time! Gotta go get the family moving!
Happy Friday!

Santa Brought Glitter Girls Clothes For The Paola Reina Las Amigas Dolls! Also Citi Pal's Clearanced Again!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

Here we are, the last day of 2018! This year has seemingly gone by in a blink! Maybe it's just me but I literally feel like it was just New Years Eve about a month ago. As for me, 2018 has been a year of many blessings and of course some struggles... I guess that's likely true of all years. Right?

So, for Christmas this year I had a 'themed' gift in mind for my dear sister friend Frann. She has gifted me six beautiful Paola Reina Dolls and she has a collection of them herself. So I decided a good gift would be to send her a couple of outfits for her Paola Reina's and have 'Santa' bring me the same outfits... You know, then our Twinsy Dolls can have Twinsy Outfits! Kind of like playing dolls from across the world cos she has the same dolls and outfits that I have...

So when I sent her the outfits, I waited to see which of her Paola Reina's she'd dress in them first and.... Then I dressed my exact twins of them in same outfits to take photos for her to see! Fun fun!

During this week it was my sweet daughters birthday... For her party we got a couple of rooms at a hotel so she and her three friends could swim and watch movies and play truth or dare or whatever else teen girls do during a slumber party. I, of course, stayed with them but wanting to keep my sanity and for my daughter to have fun without me crimping her style too much, I got a room right next door. Which, I won't lie, once I got them settled in, was rather nice. I'd go check on them periodically and help them with anything they needed but mostly they kept to themselves after they were done swimming and I had a nice pretty quiet hotel room to myself. I had planned to bring along my laptop and write write write... But... I put my laptop bag beside my door to 'not forget it' and...
Of course... I forgot it. Oh well, I made the best of it and just took as many doll photos and did as much editing of them as I could with my phone.

Of course I took along dollies with me to take photos of!! Here is our stunning view of Sam's Club! Heeheehee... I'm kidding. I love where I live and wouldn't change the view from my local hotels for anything.

Later I took the dolls into the bathroom and tried to get some cute shots with the ginormous mirror in there. I think I got some cute ones.

Paola Reina Dolls are so totally adorable, right?

As you saw in photo... There was a Sam's Club across the way. Which was perfect because their cakes and pizza's are fantastic and good priced so they were on the menu for my daughters party. However, while I was over there to pick up the pizza's, cake and chips (etc) I happened by the toy section and since it was after Christmas, they'd marked the City Pal's Dolls down again... I'd already brought along the one I got the other day for $15ish but now that they were down to $9ish, well...
I only have so much will power people. Outfits for 14 inch dolls are usually $9 so it's like getting a doll for free. Free is my favorite price and so...

Two of them jumped right into my cart!

I'd brought along the girl (on left) that I got the other day for $14ish to take photos of and so... I took a photo of the three of them together!

As you can see, the girl on the right (with dark hair and blue eyes), has no shoes... I could not get her to stand up in the shoes she came with! So I gave up and let her be barefoot.

Out take photo!

I better run! I've been having technical issues again with this dinosaur of a laptop and actually posted this half done for a few hours because I couldn't get internet to launch again. Oy! Hoping to get back here with a post or two more today but just in case I don't make it back:

Happy New Year!
