Glitter Girls At Tuesday Morning! Cute Shoes At Walmart!

Hi Doll Friends!

Look what I ran across at Tuesday Morning last week! I was so proud of myself for not buying anything! Don't think I wasn't tempted by the shoe/leggings sets!! They only Poppy left in the dolls, three of them were there.

Oh how I wanted to buy more clothes for my Wellie Wisher & Glitter Girl & Paola Reina & Heart4Hearts dolls! But... I was good and left them there. 

They also had these cute little puppies that were perfect sized for the dolls... But I didn't buy one! 

I also ran by Walmart recently and saw these cute shoes!!

That's it for now... Sorry about my somewhat sporadic nature of my posts lately. So many reasons for it but suffice to say I have way too many irons in the fire lately. Many of them are really great 'irons' but... Still making my time management skills not as good as they should be. I have many posts I am working on currently... So I'll get them posted eventually!

Walmart In Store Report!!

Hi Doll Friends!!

Just some quick photos of the 'new' My Life As items I am beginning to see in my various Walmart stores locally... I know I get a kick out of seeing them and so figure you might too. 

Here are some of the new season dolls. I love the one in the footy PJ's. I already got the Soccer Player and the Ballerina... Teehee. Maybe someday I'll get the new boy doll but I have loads of blonde boys in the doll house so... Maybe not? What trips me out is that on the My Life As Doll website they don't show any of the new stuff? Weird right?

Here is the kitchen in the new colors.

These three sets are all new. 

There is a store... Walmart actually. I think it's cute but again, I could create a store with items on hand and not have one more item to store...

This plant stand is the same as the older Ice Cream stands they used to sell... I already own two of them and have been making my own plants and so I am not really tempted to get this at all. 

This is really cute. Not sure I ever need to get it because, again, I feel like I could pull off making something similar for less money. But who knows, if it goes on clearance someday maybe?

Because it is pretty cute.

New boy clothes!! I didn't buy any because I honestly think you could get boy clothes off Etsy for about the same money made by some little granny somewhere and support a small business too. Still, cute!

Accessories galore!

There is the new loft bed and laundry room set...

This is did like! They improved the carrier bag for the dolls. I have the older version and I really do think it's top notch...

But I love that they added this handle on the side. Maybe I'll get another one sometime..? Cos I am always traveling with dollies! LOL

These are new! Much like last years clothes sets for the large dolls, these were three outfit sets for the mini dolls they sell. Very cute styles! I actually picked one up because I have two American Girl Doll Mini Dolls and they are in need of clothes!

They also released furniture for the mini dolls. Very cute. I am NOT going there. I have enough doll stuff with just my 18inch dolls! Hahaha.

Still, pretty doggone cute!

I saw these charm bracelets on clearance but... Didn't buy one. 

It's hit and miss for sure. A lot of Walmarts still look like they had a fire sale. 

This set is cute.... I love the marshmellow roasting sticks!

In one store they had a TON of these dolls on clearance for $13... Tempting!! But with that many left I am going to bide my time and check back in a week or so and see if they've been marked down again... Haha.

Better run if I am going to get to church on time!

New My Life As Doll Teal Watch and Tablet Accessory Set!

Greetings and Salutations Doll Friends!

Look what I found at Walmart in the 'bins' where they keep the doll eyeglasses and such!! 

This cute little accessory set!! It was only $2.98 (or was it $2.97? I can't ever recall their odd price point ending?) 

It is called 'Teal watch and tablet" although the watch is actually pink. How odd! 

The 'tablet' comes with three cards that you can change back and forth as you pretend your doll having all manner of apps on her tablet.

All in all a very cute set especially for the price point!

New Lanai Chairs For 18 Inch Dolls At Walmart!

Hi Doll Friends!

Just a quick 'in store report' here from Walmart!

I went in to Walmart on Friday for a work errand and as has become my habit, I had to go check the My Life As Doll section of the store to see if they had anything new? Sure enough, they did! 

They had these cute little aqua blue lanai chairs!! They were marked just under $8 and are very sturdy in feel... I think they are adorable and might just have to add them to my 'wish list for the future. Then again, I only have so much space in the Doll House and as you can see in my recent New Years Florida Vacation post I already have two pretty nifty rattan lanai chairs so... Maybe I'll just admire them in the store. They are super cute though and at about $8 it wouldn't be too hard to buy two and have a cute set as a gift to make a little doll loving girl very happy.

I set one next to a pretty doll in a similarly colored dress so you can see scale and size of the chair. I am really happy with Walmart's My Life As Doll line... They just keep getting better!

New "My Life As Doll" 18inch Doll Accessory Sets At Walmart!

Hi Doll Friends!

Went by Walmart yesterday when out running errands... Figured I'd run by the My Life As Doll Section... You know... Just to look... *giggles*

What did I find there? New accessory sets!!! Now I wasn't kidding when I said I really just ran by there to look. I am supposed to be reigning in my 'doll spending' for at least a few months after the windfall of dolls and doll things I've gotten from my birthday in November and then Christmas last month. So when I went back there I said to myself "You can only look... Or maybe you can get one pair of $3 shoes if they have a style you don't have yet"

Then I saw the new sets! I wanted one of each of them! Uh oh...

So I decided I'd allow myself to choose just one. I'd planned go get a burger at a fast food joint and thought "If I have a salad at home instead after errands, it'll practically pay for this $7.95 priced set!" Yes, that is how my mind works. I am right though, eh? A fast food meal costs about $8 if you go to the more decent places. So that's what I did. The salad was better for me anyway. Right? Haha.

They really are all super cute. I love the fitness set because we love yoga in the Doll House and it comes with a yoga mat. 

I also noticed this new doll in their line... I love her dress! I kind of laughed at her 'job' though. Wedding planner? These are supposed to be children dolls right? "They're just babies!!" So I thought it kind of a strange occupation for a doll. Then again I guess they have veternarian dolls and I don't see a lot of 10-12 year old vets either so. I didn't really notice her at the time but if you look to the left of her, the blonde in the pineapple swim suit is also a new one I think. I could totally dig being in her 'occupation' though! I want to grow up and be a 'Beach Vacationer!" Eh? All kidding aside, cute new dolls!

I can't recall having seen them have doll carrying bags before? Perhaps I'd just never seen them in the stores I went to? In any case, I think they are pretty sturdy looking and I love that they have wheels. I have begun to think about getting one of these sorts of bags for when I take the dolls out on photo shoots. Now I just use a tote bag but they often get their hair all messed up when I take them in one and I think this would keep them stable and secure when I am taking them out. So maybe someday...

I also noticed that the food truck was marked down! I don't really want one because I already have too little space for too many doll things... LOL! But it's a good price for someone who wants one.

Another end cap of the dolls... See the brunette in the pineapple suit? I don't know how I missed noticing them when I took photo. I almost wish they would sell just that suit because it's super cute and I really don't need another My Life As Doll.

Well, I just noticed the time and I have an appointment to have coffee with a friend on FaceTime so I have to skeedaddle!!

My Life As Dolls Vet Set At Walmart!

Hi Doll Friends!!

So recently I went to Walmart looking for the 'new' doll stuff... I did find some as I told you about in this post, I also found what must be last years 'Vet Set' on clearance for $9! Mind you, I liked the accessories in the other set a bit better but in this one there was also a pet but, more importantly to me, a 'Nurses Coat'!!

I've been wanting/needing a proper 'Nurses Coat' for my Kristi doll ever since I made her as a doppleganger doll for my friend Kristi who is a nurse in real life. I also needed a stethescope for her and this set had one of them too!! NICE!

Here is the set all boxed up. It also came with a needle for shots, a thermometer, small roll of bandage, a medicine bottle, a 'cone of shame' for the dog and a pet dog who is rather cute. 

All in all a very cute set and at $9, how could I lose? The pets at Walmart are $5 and outfits are $9ish so it was like getting the doggie free. Of the Walmart MLAD pets I've seen, he is probably one of the cutest I've seen so, nice!

I didn't put the pants on Kristi because they looked a bit too much like PJ pants to me... Haha. But I absolutely LOVE the Nurse Coat on Kristi! I showed the real Kristi the photo and told her it was perfect other than the dog paw prints on it. She said "No, that's perfect because we both know how much I love dogs too!"

I did take some photos of the dog both in and out of his little cone of shame but must've forgotten to upload them. I'll try and remember to come back here and upload them for you! In the meantime, check at Walmart and see if you can't find this cute set on clearance for yourself!!
